Surgery
Traumatology
and orthopedics

Diagnosis and treatment of traumatic injuries, congenital or acquired problems in bones, joints, ligaments, muscles and tendons, organs that allow the body to perform any movement.

ARTHROSCOPIC PLASTIC OF CRUCIATE LIGAMENTS

This involves using the patient's own ligaments to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament. The graft can be obtained from the hamstrings, patellar tendon or quadriceps tendon.

The graft replaces the torn anterior cruciate ligament and can be fixed using interference screws, buttons or cortical screws.

Once the surgery is complete, the patient needs to recover with a physical therapist to strengthen the muscles that were atrophied by the ligament injury, such as the quadriceps.

COMPREHENSIVE MANAGEMENT OF OSTEOPOROSIS

Osteoarthritis is a degenerative disease characterized by the wear and tear of joint cartilage. It can affect any joint, but it frequently occurs in the small joints of the hands and the joint of the big toe, which is known as a bunion.

Its treatment will depend on how severe the current state of the disease is, but may include general measures to reduce pain and strengthen muscles, prevent overweight and obesity, physical therapy and, in very specific cases, surgery.

ROTATOR CUFF REPAIR

Rotator Cuff Anchor Plasty. The technique uses minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery to repair injured rotator cuff tendons.

Arthroscopic rotator cuff repair is not only less invasive but decreases the risk of postoperative complications such as muscle injury, stiffness, and infection.

HAND SURGERY

It is performed for a variety of reasons, including infection, hand injury, or to correct conditions that may affect the hand long-term.

Hand surgery is often performed to correct the following conditions:
Carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, hand injuries and trauma, tendon repair, birth defects, inflammatory arthritis, Dupuytren's contracture.
